History

David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman founded Mandeville Films in 1994.[1][2] The company went into hiatus when Hoberman left to join Hyde Park Entertainment but re-formed in 2002, this time with an exclusive 5-year contract with The Walt Disney Studios[1]

When Mandeville Films returned to the studios, it was scheduled to produce 2 movies each for Touchstone and MGM: Walking Tall, Raising Helen, The Last Shot, and Beauty Shop. The studio itself went back to Disney in 2006 to co-produce Eight Below and The Shaggy Dog, back-to-back.

Their most recent film is The Proposal, starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. The studio's upcoming films include a remake of Swiss Family Robinson and Hong Kong Phooey.[3]
